THE SWEETEST COURSES
Hershey is renowned for its chocolate, tours, and attractions. Some are even aware of the golf available through Hershey Resorts ™, but many are surprised to hear of the additional options for premium golf in Hershey. While there are several courses in the region, you won’t want to golf just anywhere. Genesis has narrowed down the list to the region’s best. So, when we talk about the sweet spot of Hershey, we are talking about the best of the best. On the far west side of Hershey near Harrisburg is the Linglestown Road area, where you will find two golf courses nearly a half mile apart that offer a private club “member of a day” experience at Blue Ridge Country Club and semi-private Colonial Country Club. Together, golfers can be assured of pristine club conditions, immaculate clubhouses and service one would expect from a private facility. As you drive east towards Hershey, follow
south slightly to the Hershey Links – their newest course in their collection and a pure golfers dream. This links style golf course is wide open with challenges at every turn. This is truly a must play with views that will keep your attention. Drive a little further south- east and you will find Iron Valley & the Miner’s Club Restaurant, a truly spectacular layout on top of a mountain. Designed by PB Dye with each set of nine holes being distinctly different, this course will both challenge and awe you from the moment you arrive. Along I-81 you will find Manada and the Hollywood Casino at the Penn National Racetrack. No golf trip is complete without these two fabulous line-ups with golf in the morning and an afternoon race at the tracks or a try with lady luck. The casino offers several upscale restaurants for golfers desiring a memorable meal and fine class of cognac.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION — YOU PICK!
The Hershey area is wide both geographically and in the kind of accommodations. On the west side close to Harrisburg is the Best Western Airport, which offers convenience to Hershey & downtown Harrisburg for 2nd street nightlife. Just a few miles away is the Comfort Suites Hummelstown, as you head into Hershey, perfect for golfers desiring an all suite hotel. North of these two properties off of Linglestown Road is a newly reopened and renovated Holiday Express. This property sits right off of I-81, offering quick access to the Hollywood Casino. On the far eastern side is the Quality Inn Lantern Lodge, sitting off of Rt. 422. This property is close enough to Hershey, but far enough away to offer an affordable full-service option for Hershey during the prime season and offers several restaurants & social areas for groups. If a Hershey golf trip for your group is not complete without staying in the heart of Hershey, the Howard Johnson Hershey sits right on Chocolate Avenue. Do not let the flagship confuse you however, as this hotel is a perfect location for social groups. Renovated completely within the last several years, this hotel offers a great outdoor pool area and a restaurant and lounge downstairs. For larger group interested in a Hershey Resort™ experience, Genesis can create unique golf travel experiences with access to either the Hotel Hershey, Designed by the renowned P.B.
