At Genesis Golf Trips, we pride ourselves on making trip planning easy for our group leaders AND our golf partners! As easy as it is for someone to book a trip – it is even easier for you to have a Genesis group stay at your facility. We take care of all of the details in a few simple steps.
Step 1 – Set up Genesis as a direct bill account and suppress the rates in your reservation
system. Prior to receiving your first group from Genesis, you will provide us with your lowest rate and load it into your system. This is typically equal to your corporate rate or tour operator rate, whichever is lower, but definitely lower than your group or package rate. Genesis Golf Trips marks up that rate prior to quoting in order to make a commission. You will also provide Genesis with a list of black‐out dates to avoid any reservations conflicts or a premium surcharge that you need to charge in order to accept a reservation on any such date.
Step 2 – Genesis Golf Trips works with group leaders the entire time. Once the group has
selected their trip itinerary, Genesis will call in the reservations to you – either being your front reservations department or sales department, you choose. We only ask that there be multiple contacts so that we can turn around reservation requests within 24 hours during normal business hours. You will provide us with a group booking ID number for reference.
Step 3 – Our system then automatically generates email confirmation reports that will clearly display new bookings and changes for existing bookings, number of double rooms, single rooms, breakfasts when there is a fee, any applied specials or promotions, comps and more!
Step 4 – Prior to their arrival, Genesis will provide you with a rooming list for folio setup with groups of more than four (two rooms).
Step 5 – Await their check‐in! You will have all of their information and be ready to welcome them to a great trip! And there’s no need to provide directions to the courses they are playing. We already have that covered y supplying them with customized maps from your property to the golf ourses they are playing. Just smile and have fun with them!
Bottom Line – We handle all of the details and all of the mess, so that you don’t have to, yet you still benefit from out of town play that you would not normally get hereby impacting your bottom line. All you need to do it deliver great service.
To keep the process easy for you and your facility, we even have an emergency line available to our groups and partners should any after hour issues arise. You could work with the groups yourself – but why would you? Instead, trust the Genesis team to send you groups and build your revenue!
